General Information

Land Only Tours
The Tour price does not include your in and outbound flight to/from Portugal. Therefore you have the freedom to choose the flight that suits you the most, regarding the proximity to your home city or airline preferences, as well as it gives you more flexibility on your staying period, in case you would like to stay for a few more days and take advantage of Portugal mild climate, the friendliness of its people or its fabulous cuisine.
If you would like to extend or anticipate your stay, telephone or email us with your request, and we will be happy to help you.
The Tour itinerary starts in Faro International Airport and finishes in Lisbon International Airport, and includes arrival and departure transfers on the designated days of the starting and ending of the tour.

Tour Transport and Accommodation
THE FLYING TIGER – Aviation Tours in partnership with TRAVEL LINE – Travel Agency, provides travel in a deluxe acclimatized coach and supplies accommodation in superior standard hotels with privileged views to the approaches and take offs of Faro and Lisbon International Airports.

The tour price is based on a twin bedded room with private facilities; however, single bedrooms are available for a supplementary charge. Those traveling alone, but who would prefer to share, are allocated a twin bedded room with a fellow enthusiast of a similar age. We cannot though always guarantee that this is possible.

Meals
The Hotel accommodation is based in a Bed & Breakfast service. Meals are not included in the price because we have found it is better to allow each person to decide for themselves. Nevertheless, we will give all the help you need on a daily basis in this issue, providing you with diverse meal options information. ( There are some meals included when we visit airforce bases. Please consult the itineraries. )

Tour Reservation
The tours have a limited number of places, therefore, we recommend you to complete the booking form and return it with the deposit as soon as possible.
Tours can only operate once they have reached a minimum number of bookings; we reserve the right to cancel any tour that does not reach the minimum number. In such instances, all monies paid will be returned in full or transferred to another tour, as you wish.
We recommend that you have adequate travel insurance for the programmed Tour period, despite our own legal insurance coverage.

• All Tours are organised by The Flying Tiger in partnership with Travel Line. Your contract is with Travel Line, licence nº863/97 issued by DGT. The contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by Portuguese law.

• The client is the person or persons named on the signed booking form.No booking shall exists until a booking form has been completed, signed and received , a deposit has been paid and a written confirmation of the booking is received by the client.

• When you make your booking you must pay a deposit of 150€ per person. If travelling within 4 weeks full pre-payment is required. The remaining amount must be paidat least 8 weeks prior to departure. If you fail to pay, your booking will be cancelled and your deposit retained.

• These are the charges if you cancel your booking:

Up to 60 days before departure - Deposit

Up to 30 days before departure - 50% of total reservation value

Whitin 30 days of departure - 100% of total reservation value

• The Flying Tiger / Travel Line, reserves the right to cancel or make changes to tour arrengements. In cases of cancellation or major change we will always offer either arrange-ments of a comparable standart or a full refund. If a tour should cancel within 8 weeks of departure, the client will be entitled to a compensation,provided we have received full payment.

More than 60 days - NIL
15 to 60 days - 30€
0 to 15 days - 50€

• If the contract we have with you is not perfomed or is improperly performed by us or our suppliers we will guarantee you appropriate compensation if this has affected the enjoyment of your travel. However we will not be liable where any failure in the performance of the contract is due to: the client; or third party unconnected with the provision of the travel arrange-ments and where the failure is unforeseeable or unavoidable; or unusal and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of wich could not have been avoidedeven if all due care had been exercised; or an event wich we or our suppliers, even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall.
